Contact our customer service department How to get to Alicante-Elche International Airport The Alicante-Elche International Airport is located 9 kilometers southwest of the city, in the town of Elche, with several means of transport ready to bring you there: Bus. Several bus lines connect the airport with the centre of Alicante, the towns of Torrellano, Elche, Benidorm, Calpe, Santa Pola, Guardamar and Torrevieja, and the city of Murcia. Check all the information on the city buses that will take you to Elche and Alicante (estimated travel time to the Puerta del Mar: 30 minutes). Check all the information on the intercity bus lines that will take you to Benidorm, Murcia, Santa Pola and Torrevieja. Train-tram. Bus line C-6 connects the Alicante-Elche International Airport with the various lines of Train-tram and Alicante Metropolitan Tram, which connect the airport to the city-centre and certain towns in the Costa Blanca such as El Campello, La Vila Joiosa, Benidorm, L’Alfàs del Pi, Altea, Calp, Benissa, Gata, Teulada and Denia. The official taxi service of the airport is provided by Radio Taxi Elche: you will spot their distinctive cars bearing a green line and the coat of arms of the city of Elche. From 1st June through 30th September the taxi company has an information desk at the arrivals hall at the airport, with these opening hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, and 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm; Saturdays 10 am to 6 pm.
